Thanks so much for inviting me onto your blog, Sally!
That’s brilliant advice Patsy, so what are we waiting for Sally? Lets get writing. My trouble is, (one of them anyway) I love writing opening lines, with quirky characters, I even get to a couple of paragraphs, then fizzle out and start thinking about something else. Great interview.
I know exactly what you mean, Susan. Openings are easy – it’s the great big middle that’s so hard!
I agree Sally.
Word press threw a wobbly and wouldn’t let me post my comments. Trying again…
Great interview Sally.
Your enthusiasm for your writing shines through your interviews Patsy.
I agree if you can write a good short story writing a novel is the next logical step. I’m still cutting my teeth on Flash Fiction! LOL!
Hi Madeline, glad you succeeded in commenting! Good Luck with the Flash Fiction and also if you move on to novels…
Suzy, it’s easy to get distracted by something new – the trick might be to have the same characters doing the new stuff so it’s all part of the same story.
That’s a good idea, then the character would become stronger, hopefully, thanks Patsy.
Madeleine, the first story I earned anything from (well I won a book token which to a writer is as good as cash) was a 40 word story!
