If so, here’s the perfect competition for you:
The Onwords website is running a free-to-enter competition for rejected poems with a first prize of $100, second prize of $50 and three honourable mentions winning $25 each.
The competition is open to submissions for two weeks only: 16 – 30 September 2022 and each poem must be accompanied by a screenshot of its rejection letter.

Hi Sally. I love poetry, and have had quite a bit accepted, and put together a booklet of all the poems I wrote. Don’t think I’d like the thought of being a reject poet though. Rather promote my published ones.

I can understand that, Susan. I’m not a poet but have a cupboard full of rejected short stories – now if there was a short story rejects competition …
