Later in life romcomOut of Control by Sally Jenkins
Fiona Ormeroyd has always planned her life down to the last detail. But on the day of her retirement, her carefully organised world unravels when her boyfriend, Joe, arrives on her doorstep. Just as she starts to regain control, an unexpected revelation shakes everything she thought she knew about life and love.
A fantastic read that leaves you contemplating the beauty of embracing change rather than resisting it!

Available in paperback and on Kindle.

Later in life romanceWaiting for a Bright New Future by Sally Jenkins
Florence is buoyant and colourful, an ageing tribute band singer who’s full of life. And the complete opposite of staid Stuart, her new landlord. Florence is everything Stuart has never allowed himself to be: bold, fearless, unabashedly herself. He’s spent his life putting everyone’s needs ahead of his own, avoiding risks and hiding from chances. Is it ever too late to start living for the first time?
Very well written. Loved the characters and the storyline. Got to the end too quickly.

Available in paperback, audiobook and on Kindle.

Little Museum of Hope by Sally Jenkins
Vanessa is starting again at fifty-five after a betrayal ends her thirty-year marriage. It’s time to follow her dream of opening a teashop. She comes across an article about the Museum of Broken Relationships, and realises that she isn’t the only one starting again later in life or nursing a broken heart. Vanessa opens up her shop as a haven for lost souls to share their stories.
This is a lovely, complex story about what happens when people let go of the baggage from the past. A pleasure to read! I kept hoping it wouldn’t end.

Available in paperback, audiobook and on Kindle.

I really enjoyed reading your latest book on writing. I wish it was also in paperback so that I could reference it chapter by chapter.

It is well written and very informative, especially for a writer embarking on their first attempts at being published. It was easy to follow and I felt you were guiding the reader slowly and confidently through each stage of the writing experience.

    What next, Sally?

Sorry for the delay, Sally, but I’ve just posted a review for you on Amazon under my Talkback pseudonym, which I’m sure you’ll recognise. For some reason, Amazon refuses to allow me to switch to my real name.

Edith, at the moment they’re not available in any other format. But I do intend to do something about that later in the year (when I get time!). I will announce it on my blog when it happens. Thank you for your interest!

Sally’s recent article on ‘tight writing’ that appeared in ‘Freelance Market News’ was immensely helpful to me. Now I would like to buy a copy of ‘A Writer on Writing’ but do not have a Kindle machine. Is the book likely to be produced as a hard copy?

Hi Martin, I’m glad you found the FMN article useful. Unfortunately cost means there’s unlikely to be a hardcopy of ‘A Writer on Writing’. I’ll email you to see if we can find a way around it.
